Organization

Atacama Resources International’s commitment to diverse businesses requires an organization structure that enables effective management of each business. The structure must also provide for efficient use of financial resources and simplified governance. There is one overall Board of Directors. The Presidents of the Parent Company and each subsidiary company are directly accountable to the Board.

ATACAMA RESOURCES INTERNATIONAL, LTD. is a wholly owned Alberta Corporation, subsidiary company of Atacama Resources International Inc. (ACRL)

Glenn Grant – President

Mr. Grant has over 35 years of project management experience in the oil and gas sector as well as the mining and natural resources industries in Canada, the United States and abroad. During this time, he has overseen many large scale development projects for international and Fortune 500 resource companies, and routinely managed budgets exceeding $30 million. He is currently President of Bower Solutions Ltd., an oil field services project management company based in Alberta, Canada.

Throughout his career as a project manager, Mr. Grant has directly managed teams of more than 200 people, while developing and refining his expertise in budgeting, operations management and scheduling, cost estimating and control, dispute resolution and personnel management. Additionally, he has applied his experience and strong interpersonal skills towards First Nations mediation in the Northern Canadian territories and managed sensitive projects in the Czech Republic for Gulf Oil Ltd. and in India for Niko Resources Inc.

Mr. Grant's previous positions and assignments include successful projects with Penn West Energy Trust, Husky Energy, AMOCO, Tarragon Oil & Gas Ltd., Royal Trust Energy Corporation, Chevron Canada and Petro Canada Inc. His entrepreneurial activities further include former ownership of an agricultural machinery dealership, large farming operation and an oilfield equipment sales company. Fred Gingras – Director of Mining Operations

With over 30 years of experience, Fred has 28 years of supervisory experience and a Degree in Recreation administration. His supervision proficiencies are broad and expansive. David Jackson - Geologist

David Jackson brings to Atacama over 40 years of geological exploration experience. He has been consultant geologist for 20 plus organizations and governmental agencies engaged in exploration work in 10 countries (Canada, USA, Tanzania, Mozambique, China, Syria, Sudan, Trinidad. Chad and areas of South America), These multi-national and wide-ranging geological challenges have given Mr. Jackson a unique set of skills and perspectives that will strongly contribute to Atacama’s Northern Ontario precious metals exploration and development work. He has become known for his expertise in generating exploration and development prospects as a result of his studies and recommendations.

Mr. Jackson’s clients include Grey Goose Petroleum. Artic Oil and Gas, Husky Energy, Glencore E&P, Sasol Petroleum International, Sasol Temane LTD, Murphy Oil Co., Tanganyika Oil, Pan China Resources, Pan Canadian (now ENCANA). He has done geological surveys on land and off-shore sites. His work is performed on the ground, on websites, by aerial observation and mapping analyses.

He has taught geology for and coached client personal in many of these countries, leaving local expertise after completing his consulting work.

David completed his geological studies at Plymouth Polytech and London University – receiving his honors degree in geology in 1974. He holds Canadian and British Passports and resides in Alberta Province, Canada.


BRUCE FOX - Geologist

Bruce Fox began his geologist career 800 feet underground in the Echo Bay Mines’ Great Bear Lake copper and silver mine near Radium Northwest Territory (NWT). Over the next 48 years he advanced his expertise as a consulting geologist  for well-known exploration companies.       Some of these clients are – Conoco Phillips,  Husky Oil China Ltd, Petrobank Energy Ltd, Canadian Hunter Exploration Ltd, Petro Canada Exploration Ltd, Wascana Energy, Canadian Forest Oil Ltd – and more.

Work with these companies took Bruce to China, Iran, Kazakstan, Italy and Africa,  Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.  Mr. Fox’s experience in supervising coring projects is extremely valuable to Atacama’s intended exploration projects.

Mr. Fox is a graduate of the three-year program at the Petroleum Technology Nait in Edmonton, Alberta. Over the years he has updated his knowledge of new technologies through participation in many industry sponsored courses of study. “Experience is still the best teacher” and Bruce has earned high marks for his proven geological experience in the underground resources exploration field.

Bruce works in partnership with David Jackson on many projects and assists David in putting together exploration plans in all geology studies and deployment.
