Lamothe Lithium
Early-stage lithium exploration asset in Quebec’s James Bay region, located ~4 km from the Rose Lithium Project within a highly active pegmatite-hosted mineral district.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Lamothe Property is an early-stage lithium and rare element exploration asset located in the James Bay region of northwestern Quebec. The project consists of eight mining claims totaling approximately 424 hectares and is situated within the La Grande Sub-province of the Superior geological province, a region recognized for significant lithium exploration and development activity.
Historical exploration has identified spodumene-bearing pegmatite dykes associated with lithium mineralization. Recent geophysical work has further defined structural and magnetic features consistent with pegmatite systems, supporting the property’s potential for continued exploration and target development.
Emerging Lithium District
Located within Quebec’s James Bay region, an increasingly active area for lithium exploration and development.
Proximity to Advanced Project
Situated approximately 4 km from the Rose Lithium-Tantalum Project, highlighting the district’s geological potential.
Pegmatite-Hosted Mineralization
Exploration targets are associated with spodumene-bearing pegmatite dyke systems typical of lithium deposits.
Defined Exploration Targets
Geophysical surveys have identified magnetic low anomalies interpreted as potential lithium-bearing structures.
Expansion Potential
Magnetic features remain open along strike, supporting continued exploration and target development.

PROJECT SUMMARY
A. Location & Jurisdiction
- Located ~30 km north of Nemaska, Quebec
- Situated in Quebec’s James Bay lithium district
- Accessible via La Route du Nord and regional road network
- Supported by nearby infrastructure and exploration activity
B. Geological Context
The Lamothe Property is located within the La Grande Sub-province, part of the Superior geological province, which hosts numerous lithium-bearing pegmatite systems. The property is underlain by intrusive lithologies intersected by pegmatitic dykes, consistent with regional lithium-bearing geological environments.
C. Structural Setting / Controls
Lithium mineralization at Lamothe is associated with pegmatite dyke systems interpreted to strike approximately 300–310 degrees and dip moderately to the northeast. These structures are commonly emplaced along zones of structural weakness and may represent favorable pathways for lithium-bearing fluids.
HISTORIC DRILLING & MINERALIZATION
Historical exploration has identified lithium mineralization associated with spodumene-bearing pegmatite dykes.
Report Results (Historical)
- Grab samples averaging ~1.06% Li₂O
- Drill intersections up to 0.63% Li₂O over 9.4 m
Key Observations
- Pegmatite dykes exposed at surface (approx. 10m x 25m area)
- Mineralization associated with spodumene-bearing systems
- Zone remains open along strike and at depth
Important Note
Historical results have not been independently verified and should not be relied upon as an indication of current mineral resources.
EXPLORATION PROGRAM
Geophysical Surveys
A 2026 ground program included Total Field Magnetic and VLF-EM surveys across approximately 2.5 km of grid lines, designed to identify structural features associated with pegmatite dyke systems.
Structural Targeting
Survey results identified a broad east-west trending magnetic low, spatially associated with the known lithium showing and interpreted as a potential pegmatite-hosting structure.
Program Insights
- Magnetic lows consistent with lithium-bearing pegmatite systems
- VLF-EM responses identified additional conductive features
- Structural trends remain open and require further evaluation
PROJECT STATUS
The Lamothe Property is currently in the early exploration stage, with initial geophysical programs completed. Results have identified priority structural targets associated with pegmatite-hosted lithium mineralization.
Ongoing work will focus on expanding geophysical coverage, detailed mapping, and advancing toward drill target definition.
